Adrian Brown

Adrian Brown joins the DKH Legacy Trust Board with a vastly experienced background in the finance and insurance industry.

Before Adrian's insurance career got underway in 1989, he spent over five years at British Gas, where he had roles in both customer accounting and administrative services.

In January 1989 Adrian joined The Insurance Service PLC. A number of promotions throughout his time here saw Adrian in the position of both Finance Director and Operations Director.

Adrian remained with The Insurance Service PLC until July 1996, when he became part of the leadership team at Royal and Sun Alliance (RSA), the company of which he is currently CEO for the UK and Western Europe.

In RSA he started as Customer Services Director where he was responsible for nearly 2,000 staff within the company. A succession of promotions saw Adrian become the Managing Director of MORE TH>N, where he developed a new direct to consumer business in 2001.

Another promotion followed and in September 2002 Adrian became the UK Director for personal insurance at MORE TH>N. Adrian was responsible for the increase in online sales and oversaw rapid growths in the company.

Directly before becoming CEO of the UK and now UK and Western Europe, Adrian was the Chief Operations Officer for the UK. He was responsible for claims, sales and service, IT and change.

It is not only the RSA Board that Adrian sits on. In September 2008 Adrian joined ABI GIC before becoming provisional Chair of the ELTO Board in 2010.
