Pam Warren

Pam WarrenPam is an independent project manager working with local businesses in the Berkshire area.  She also works as a special projects reporter with her local radio station, is just about to publish her autobiography and is a public speaker.

Having previously been an independent financial adviser running her own company, specialising in company pension schemes and investment portfolios, she was caught up in and survived the 1999 Paddington train crash. The burns and injuries she sustained during this crash led her to become known nationally as the 'lady in the mask'. She went on to spearhead a nationwide campaign to make Britain's railways safer for the travelling public.

In 200 she became an ambassador for The Healing Foundation, predominately working in the field of psychological research into the effects of disfigurement. In 2011 she won the Women of the Year Frink Award and Unison's Citizenship of the Year Award.

Pam continues to provide help and guidance to others who are facing an uncertain future coping with disfigurement.
