With the help of its partners, the DKH Legacy Trust runs the following projects:
Backing Talent
Supported by various partners, this project offers unique advice, training and information delivered by elite athletes and experts to aspiring young athletes and their parents and coaches.
Get on Track
Supported by a range of partners, 'Get on Track' aims to provide disadvantaged young people with the chance to enhance their confidence, self-belief and employability skills.
London 2012 Young Leaders Programme
The BP-sponsored Young Leaders Programme is designed to give a cohort of disadvantaged young people the opportunity to take part in a life-changing programme, that will culminate at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
AQA Unlocking Potential
Working in partnership with AQA, 20 young people from across the country are taking part in Unlocking Potential. Through a combination of personal development challenges and social action projects, this project will help bring out the best in these young people.
National Citizen Service
Delivered with v, this flagship programme is run under the government's Big Society scheme. The project will prepare young people for adult life through a personal development programme.
Sport for Change
Working with Centrepoint, Sport for Change is supporting young homeless people through a six-week personal development programme.
Aspiring Minds
Delivered in association with By-Design and supported by GE, 'Aspiring Minds' is a schools programme designed to develop the skills and attitudes required for success in the modern world.
Sporting Champions
This Sport England initiative is a role model programme the Trust delivers in partnership with Creating Excellence.
Young People Re-engagement Programme
We are working alongside Skill Force and By Design to help support young people at the risk of exclusion from mainstream education
Making Headway
Delivered in partnership with Skill Force, 'Making Headway' aims to develop the personal learning skills of young people aged between 14-16, which will ultimately enhance their employment skills.
