Giselle enjoyed a 15 year career in Communications and Public Affairs before taking up her existing role as Chief Executive Officer for Dubai based Falcon and Associates, a company working for His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
She cut her teeth in the mid-1990s on the media relations and event management of the Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race for sponsor Allied Domecq (Beefeater Gin) - one of a number of clients she worked for at (then) Scope Sponsorship (now Ketchum). In 1996 she moved to Formula 1, joining Benetton for a season and then Jordan Grand Prix from 1997 - 2002. The six fun-filled seasons as Jordan's Head of Corporate Communications were bright years for the most successful privateer team in the pit lane, and included race wins with Damon Hill and Heinz Harald Frentzen, as well as seasons with racing legends including Jean Alesi, Ralph Schumacher, Jarno Trulli and Takuma Sato.
In 2002 she moved to Switzerland to join the International Olympic Committee as Director of Communications - the first board level recruit of newly elected IOC President, Jacques Rogge.
