Here are the DKH Legacy Trust we aim to create life chances for young people. Investment bank UBS also shares this aim, and this is what inspired the firm to take an innovative approach to fundraising to fund two upcoming 'Get on Track' projects in London.
The fundraising culminated in an event held at the UBS London offices, which saw a variety of teams made up of UBS staff compete in both activities and fundraising targets. Employees of UBS also got the chance to compete against our world class athletes on the rowing machines!
The £50,000 raised by the organisation was well met by everyone at the Trust including CEO Julie Whelan. "I am really delighted with the fundraising efforts UBS has put in to funding our 'Get on Track' programme. We must thank them for their much-needed support."
Andrew Schaeffer, the team captain of IBD Management, said: "It was great to be a part of such an event.Meeting individuals such as Earl, who has benefitted from 'Get on Track' has helped everyone here understand what a fantastic and worthy cause we are supporting."
