Why not join Kelly's Charity Fundraisers and help us inspire disadvantaged young people? Whether big or small, fundraising is a brilliant way to keep in touch with the DKH Legacy Trust and help us with our work.

We want people up and down the country to get their kit on and get running to raise much needed funds for a cause close to Kelly's heart: inspiring young people. Having seen firsthand the difference that sporting role models can make to young people, Kelly is passionate about her charity supporting disadvantaged young people to find and believe in their own talents by using positive high achievers from the world of sport as role models and mentors.

In return for committing to support Kelly's charity in this way, fundraisers receive a range of benefits unique to Kelly's charity. Anyone can gain Bronze, Silver or Gold membership of the Runners Club, depending on how much money they commit to raise, starting with £200 for Bronze level runners.

So whether you are a complete beginner, a rising star, or a seasoned veteran, we want to hear from you!

If you've never fundraised before, don't feel daunted - our packs are full of information and ideas to get you started. You'll receive help advice to make it as fun and stress-free as possible.

Please email our fundraising department to request a fundraising pack – we'll then send you advice on how and where to fundraise.

Contact us if you already have your own place in any running event and would like to join Kelly's Charity Runners and run for the DKH Legacy Trust.

We have some terrific races and events coming up - and we want you to get involved.

SUSO Children's Open Water Triathlon, Saturday 10th July 2010

On top of an already extensive list of activity aimed at inspiring and supporting young people in 2010, fast-rising soft drinks brand SUSO is proud to announce its title sponsorship of the SUSO Open Water Triathlon, alongside event partners Human Race and the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust.

This sponsorship is a further reflection of SUSO’s commitment to encouraging young people to live (and drink) more healthily while inspiring them to adopt a positive ‘No Can’t Do’ attitude to life.

The biking and running are all on closed roads so there's no worry about traffic. All participants are considered winners for taking part and taking on the daunting prospect of a 100, 200 or 400m open water swim followed by a 2, 5, or 10km bike ride and 1, 2 or 2.5km run. Over 450 have already registered to take on the challenge!

Throughout the event SUSO will be offering refreshment to participants and their families and prizes for the top finishers on the day. Additionally any competitor fund-raising £20 or more in sponsorship for the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust goes into a draw to win a weekend away retreat for their entire family courtesy of Natural Retreats among other runners up prizes. Participants will find extra inspiration from the charity’s team of Olympians like Olympic bronze medalist Sarah Winckless and six times world champion Kayaker Anna Hemmings, who will be there on the day.
